Here is something that needs to be done everywhere in this Nation. The brutal, rascist, dangerous and condescending treatment by corrections officers is endemic throughout this nation. A huge percentage of prisoners currently held in this nation are for victimless crimes. Many are being held without even having had a trial. There are many horrible cases involving the brutalizing and deaths of citizens who were being held for simple DUIs and/or related offenses involving probation, suspended licenses and the like. These were innocent people who got wrapped up in this draconian justice system and were unable to find their way out.
And it all started by simply being pulled over one night by a DUI cop looking for its nightly DUI arrest!
