READ THIS OREGONIAN ARTICLE :
OUR TAKE
This is a story that just goes on and on. West Linn is a sleepy little town on the outskirts of Portland Oregon. It is nestled into the Willamette River in Clackamas county. At first look it conjures up a bucolic little, small town and small town values. At least that was the first impression of this writer when he first laid eyes on it years ago. Images of unlimited fishing and hunting and quaint pubs with local musicians where one could go to relax with the natives after a long day.
But alas, any kind of a modern-day dweller who knows anything, knows that these images of small town America are long gone. The dark spectre of illegal drugs such as meth in particular, has invaded many of them. In addition, those of us who live for the night are well aware of the incredible corruption that can be found in many towns all across the nation nowadays. Sleepy little West Linn is certainly no exception as many readers have come to find out.
“A particularly bloody shooting inside of a local bar…”
This story of police corruption that involves good old boy quid pro quo glad handing, the thin blue line, negligence, complete lack of any kind of integrity and racism that is laid out in this article spills right over into the corrupt DUI enforcement that is found in this town as well as the county of Clackamas. This writer can unfortunately attest to the truth of that statement.
This story has evolved into the gift that keeps on giving for sleepy little West Linn. Yes, this is the herpes that has infected their town through their corrupt police force. The embarrassment of this is something the town is finding hard to live down, as this story simply will not end. The investigation into this story has gone on to involve several state and federal organizations. Too bad these additional agencies will not dig deeper into the dark underbelly of this rotten police force when it comes to their DUI enforcement. The crimes they commit late at night. One need not look much further from the current situation they are dealing with to everything else that takes place with these cowboy cops after the sun goes down. Abuses of DUI enforcement is the great big fat elephant in the room that is rarely ever acknowledged in today’s discussions. Indeed, these are the kind of investigations that need to be done in jurisdictions all over this nation. And that is the main reason for the existence of this particular site, DUIcopAbuse.com .
The West Linn investigation fits right into the Clackamas county reputation for the dirty nasty deeds that have been done by their officers. This includes bloody murders committed by disgruntled officers against their mates that have dragged in other innocent lives. A particularly bloody shooting inside of a local bar comes to mind where three innocent women were gunned down by a crazed Clackamas county cop. There was another transgender cop who recruited somebody’s son to murder her would be mate. There have been beatings on the side of the road as well as behind the walls of their nasty jail.
When one of their own went out and got drunk and rolled his cop car on a perfectly straight stretch of road late one night, his buddies came to the scene and gathered him up and took him on home. When the officer in charge was later asked why they did that, he replied that they felt it was the safest thing they could do…
There was another DUI case that comes out of the small town of Estacada, not far from West Linn. Pretty much all of the cops from this town ganged up on one local businessman over a DUI trial . They ended up raiding his home and business and family in some kind of a drawn out, nasty vendetta. The absurd behavior of those nasty cops was reprehensible.
The night shift at the Clackamas county jail, aka Clackatraz is as nasty and disgusting as can be. Certain nasty ass, skinhead guards have had their way with the inmates as well as beating up their significant others. Guards from that jail have been tried convicted and jailed for violent crimes. And of course, lawsuits have been flying all around that county for a good long time. The cases go on and on.
One hardly knows where to begin when it comes to attempting to cover this particular West Linn story. We would really need to go over this in a different article. Some heads are already rolling but there are a number of other dirty cops that still need to be took down over this.
All the names are in the article but in a nutshell we have a tow truck company owner who smacks of predatory tow truck drivers. This is a pretentious subject that has been covered by the press in this area for quite a few years and deserves much further investigation. This particular owner happens to be a racist as well as a bigot. And his good fishing buddy happens to be the chief of police in West Linn.
Anyway this story has stretched out all through 2020. So these two racists made a deal with the devil to frame a black guy that was working for the tow truck service. What did the black guy do that was so serious that these two lowlifes felt the need to hatch up their plan from hell? He had lodged a complaint with the owner that he was being discriminated against by his co-workers. Evidently the owner decided to bypass dealing with that issue and simply frame the guy and ruin his life instead. Didn’t work out that way for Mr. Tow Dude.
Anyway, this lawsuit ridden, scandal would go on to include a number of other cops from the West Linn Force as well as the Portland Police department gang enforcement team. They crossed boundaries out of each other’s jurisdictions. It was a keystone cop hot mess! The subject of this article, police chief Terry Kruger comes into the scene after this whole nasty mess had come to light and heads had rolled.
The dirty police chief was gone and they needed to hire a new one . So they grabbed this guy Terry Kruger who was retired out of the Portland Police Department who carried a bit of a checkered past of his own concerning some shootings. Then it turns out that Kruger was also good buddies with Mr Tow Dude. Seems they all like to go fishing together or something. One big, happy cross-county tribe. Anyway it’s sordid and there is plenty more. The accompanying article should be more than enough to soak in for now for those of you who can stand to wade through all of this.
