Couple Beaten and Tased on their Night Out

Copism: DUI: Then And Now

The first DUI laws can be traced back to New Jersey at the turn of the century. A law was developed with a fine of up to $500 and 60 days in jail. This laid the foundation for the outrageous penalties and punishments that have accompanied these laws to the present day.

Now granted, no one was likely to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. But the fact is, the illustrious lawmakers wrote in these barbarian punishments as a means of exerting maximum control over a segment of the population. There was no method of measurement so, essentially anyone could be accused of drunk and driving and potentially subjected to life changing punishments.

It does not take a lot of brainpower to come to the conclusion that the very first DUI laws left the door wide open for corruption. Unfortunately, the door remains wide open for the vast majority of laws that are written for the United States justice system.

As law-abiding folks, most of us like to believe that the laws of this country were written to protect the sovereign citizens. It is sad when we delve in for a deeper look at the origins and effects of the unreal labyrinth of laws we have in effect in our country in the present day. We discover how so many laws have been written not to protect us but to unfortunately harm us. That kind of information is hard to take in and would be the subject of another article.

Consider normal, rational thinking, human beings, as most of us are – with the exception of Narcissists, Psychopaths and Borderlines. We like to think the world is overall good along with all the people in it. These kinds of thoughts are easy for us to think … they comfort us. The glass is half full – and all of that happy horse patutty. Get over it, you are in the world of Almighty Law Enforcement now. A place where victims are relentlessly pursued. The fact of the matter is, most of us have lazy brains. We are always looking for the easy way out, including the cop who comes after you. He likes to do it the easy, clean way – no matter what it takes! And YOU are expected to go along with all of it like a meek lamb … nice and easy and clean. NOPE!

Where to now?

Wind forward to the present day of 2020 and we find people in the streets, revolting against this very thing. Over policing, abusive policing, deadly policing. People have become sick of corruption at the federal level, insane law enforcement, excessive penalties, punishments and laws, lack of transparency throughout the entire system. Where do you want to start? The corruption is endemic throughout the system. People are pissed. They are burning Federal buildings and all manner of mayhem!

There is a pandemic going on which is spreading into the prison and jail systems. so-called drunk drivers who are otherwise law-abiding citizens find themselves subjected to the criminal correction systems where they are made into instant criminals and risk their lives from the spreading CCP virus, as well as a long list of other legitimate dangers. DUI laws may very well be the most highly abused laws on the books today!

What kind of a society have we built that funnels law-abiding citizens into the criminal justice system, booking them into jails and binding their lives with criminal records? We all have to hang our heads a little bit for allowing our system to get so far out of whack and so barbaric in this country. But we can also rise up and get things done. And things are getting done, finally.

We are living in a country that imprisons more of our citizens than any other developed country in the world. To those of us who have served this country as Veterans, this is particularly insulting. What kind of a country are we? How does this make us look to the rest of the entire world? Or how does this make our form of gov’t look? How does this make our society look?

Is it becoming clear that this is no white-washed, legal website where everyone is expected to admit their sins and then seek good legal help? Many attorneys say to relax and let us take care of everything. Do not relax, be active. This is one of the most important if not the most important stages of your life. This is no time to relax and try to take it easy on your mind. Someone is accusing you of doing something very horrible and they’re coming for you. We are not admitting anything here. We do not kneel down and ask for forgiveness. Instead, we stand up and fight back with everything we’ve got!

Of Course There Are Limits

Let’s face it people, you know who you are. So, we say again – If you are some consummate partier all jacked up on booze and drugs, driving like a maniac down the wrong way on the highway, running from the cops, taking out someone’s front porch and crashing into the living room, well … This place is not for you. You are the kind that these DUI laws are all about and the kind that needs to be heavily punished by them.

The rest of us on the other hand

We are, by and large legal, law abiding citizens. Statistics will prove that to be the case. The vast majority of us have never willingly committed any kind of crime against anyone or anything else. That, in and of itself should count for a lot in a DUI Court. Unfortunately all of this counts for nothing. That needs to change. Their duty is to paint you as the worst kind of monster out there and to punish you to the full extent of the law. Nothing else about you as a citizen matters. Whatever grievous harm may come to your life is inconsequential. We need to get out of this mindset of – oh no, they wouldn’t do THAT would they? In all good conscience, yes the Will do all of THAT and more. Because they feel duty bound – and they want to win – because, unlike you – this is a game for them.

This is the site where you come for the tips, tactics and techniques to put up a good fight in the courtroom. Hold defendants are welcome as our old attorneys of all stripes. As well as all others who have an interest in true justice in the United States. We welcome participation from all. We will all learn from one another. There are cop lovers out there who truly believe that all ground cops stand on his golden, simply because they have an uncle or somebody who is a cop and. Well, that is by you can and state your opinion here. Well rounded input is better for us all. We certainly welcome the input from any cops, former cops, former and present prosecutors and anyone else with inside information on the DUI industry. We are all in this together in our little DUI world.
